Saitama Toy Museum Kindergarten is a private kindergarten in Misato, Saitama. Children learn through play, art and exploration. Updated September 16, 2026.
Enrollment from age three
Children who have reached age three may apply to enroll during the school year without waiting until the following April. The actual start date is arranged individually after checking the child’s date of birth, availability and required procedures. Enrollment does not automatically begin on the first day of the birthday month.
Applications for ages three, four and five, including midyear transfers, can also be discussed. Our Prekindergarten program is a separate program for children from age two; admission procedures, fees and subsidy rules differ.
Hours and extended care
Educational hours are Monday–Friday, 10:00–14:00. Current extended-care hours are 8:00–9:30 and 14:30–18:00, with holiday-period care from 8:00–18:00. The kindergarten is generally closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Confirm the 2027 calendar, age eligibility, fees, meals and arrangements between sessions with the kindergarten.
Getting to kindergarten
Options include family drop-off, the regular school bus and a shuttle from the drop-off station inside AEON TOWN Yoshikawa Minami. Ask about the timetable, fees, eligible ages and compatibility with extended care.
Fees and financial support
The 2027 fee schedule is provided at information sessions or individual consultations. Check admission charges, recurring fees, meals, bus transport and extended care separately. Tuition and extended-care subsidies have different conditions; meals, transport and event charges are generally outside the tuition subsidy. Apply through your municipality where required.
